The Grouse Capital of the Midwest
As the foremost habitat organization for the Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock Hunter,
the Ruffed Grouse Society has been uniting Conservationists to improve forest health since 1961. Here in Michigan the Mid-UP Chapter has been hard at work furthering the local mission through fund raising and habitat work stretching across the Central Upper Peninsula. We are Grouse Hunters by blood, and we aim to share our passion for forest stewardship and engage others in the mission of RGS to preserve the upland tradition for generations to come.
